Before installing the pixus driver, I had the BJC driver working for my i but when I printed, the position on the page was not that good.


So I did what I had read elsewhere as a procedure and ran Windows Update which found the correct Canon i driver. The job just sits in the queue.

I have no idea now what the heck is going on, but at least it sort of worked lijux for a while. Mine worked fine after that. I have an i printer, in your HowTo you say You need: I’m trying to get this to work with no success.

Problem getting driver for networked Canon i865 on Win 7 to printer attached to Linux Desktop

I have a Canon i, any drivers available for i? Is there anything special I need to do for the connection? Here’s how it managed to print a test page in edgy 64 on a Canon i I had thought about connecting the laptops and installing locally but I had read on a thread somewhere that that wouldn’t work.

Is there any way to list all my lknux devices in a similar fashion to lsusb? Canon iXXX series printers. I tried to get the Canon drivers installed using the instructions below.

If you do not delete other driver referencing the printer when print from an application it will never get sent to the printer. The printer seemed to be working, and when I sent a job to it the job would “complete”, but the printer never printed anything.
